#BGIM on a Tuesday #LTS-3 LEARNING and TRAINING

#BGIM on a Tuesday #LTS-3 LEARNING and TRAINING Special Edition 3

Due to a few technical and editorial challenges, #BGIM Bless God It’s Monday couldn’t be released yesterday but we thank God for this blessed Tuesday. We continue from where we left off last week. After #LTS 1 & 2 sought to encourage trainers to willingly train trainees by the RELEASE Principle; followed by trainees making themselves trainable, we continue with Edition 3.

#LTS-3 FULL TRAINING _NOT_ HALF TRAINING

The concept of training is that the trainee should be able to acquire all the needed skills and knowledge from his trainer in order for to become ‘independent’ of his trainer in his field of work. In order to achieve this target ๐ŸŽฏ or goal, the trainee has to undergo the FULL course of the training. But in most training especially the informal ones, the full course of the training scheme is not known by the trainee but by the trainer only.

This phenomenon usually worries the trainee. Because trainees always want to quickly finish their training. No Trainee wants to spend till eternity to finish one training course. Because of this, most trainees unlike the boy Samuel in #LTS-2, would want to move out from under the mentorship and leadership of their trainer, Eli the High Priest because as most young trainees would say “I have arrived”. But the sad thing is, getting to identify and hear God’s voice is just the beginning and not enough for you as a trainee Priest/ Prophet. And hence it doesn’t warrant you leaving your trainer.

Remember, the boy Samuel STILL STAYED under the Mentorship and Training of his trainer, Eli until the training had run its full course.

My mum, a seamstress by profession, usually says this thing: “There are certain attire/dresses ๐Ÿ‘— that not every seamstress can sew except those who disciplined themselves to undergo the full apprenticeship under their Madam”. And its very true. If you don’t know and go and give such special attire to a seamstress/tailor, he/she would try very hard but finally ‘spoil’ the dress.

This happens because most trainees like Seamstresses in this case can hardly stay for the Full Course of their training. Because at a certain point, trainees realise that there is nothing new their trainer is now teaching. Point of Correction: SEEMINGLY New their trainer is teaching now.

It’s true that there is nothing new your trainer is teaching now. You are not far from right!!! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ But you see trainees limit training only to the CLEAR CUT transfer of knowledge and skills (hands and mind). But one thing most trainees don’t know is that there are things beyond skills and knowledge to be learnt from your training. They include but not limited to Wisdom in Handling Difficult Situations like Crisis and Difficult Customers, Expansion of Business, Problem Solving Skills, Good Sense of Judgement, Financial Management, How to Detect Fraud amongst so many others.

So if you think you have acquired all the clear-cut skills and knowledge, know today that your _Training is still not COMPLETE_
