#BGIM- Bless God It’s Monday
THIS IS THE TIME YOU WOULD WORK MORE, BUT LESS PAY
We bless God for another Monday as this where we would continue our diligent work as God blesses the work of our hands. (Deuteronomy 28:12)
#BGIM- This Is The Time You Would Work More, But Less Pay
Yes!!! You heard me right. This is the time you would work hard and more but less pay. In the initial stages of work where you find yourself at the lower side of the organization ladder, you are sure to do all kinds of work but still the pay/ renumeration in your sight would be little compared to the work-vrs-pay you see others at the top do.
#BGIM this week says don’t mind the work done by others at the top and their pay/ renumeration thereof but rather pay attention to yours. Because the first point worth noting is that those up there began just you like in the same conditions but after working diligently have risen to that enviable position you look up to.
Point Two is that this is the time you need to learn all the nitty-gritties of the job, picking up all the necessary skills you need to excel at the top. And most often than not, these vital acquisitions come by you working hard, doing a lot of different works including those not even in your job description as long as working more hours than expected. Some people would say you have to work your socks off at this stage.
I remember something I once told a friend of mine some time ago. We were discussing how sometimes our work schedules affect other aspects of our lives. My friend, a teller at a Bank, talked about how lower level clients at the bank go to the bank early, work all day and leave hours after the bank closes whilst top level managers don’t spend much time as they do but end up earning far more albeit all the incredible work done by these Top Level Management. She talked also about the flexibility top level management have in their line of work unlike she and her colleagues.
At this, I told her that so it is. At this stage, she might do all kind of work, working harder and harder, even working extra hours often without extra pay BUT that it is in this that she would learn everything in the bank, she would shapen herself in the banking field, picking up all relevant skills and attitudes as she prepares herself for climbing to the top of the Corporate Ladder where there is much flexibility and much pay or renumeration.
So brothers and sisters, don’t worry. Work hard now. You are building and preparing yourself for the great things and benefits in the future.
#BGIM Bless God It’s Monday
WORK HARD AND WORK MORE. Don’t Worry my brother/sister.
Have a Blessed Working Week.
